Hey y’all! I'm Elizabeth — the photographer behind Purrfect Shots. I'm originally from Poland (yep, the country famous for pierogi and Wałęsa ), and I moved to the U.S. in late 2024. Yes, I do speak English… with a bit of flavor 😉 I’m still learning my way around the South and perfecting my English, so if you catch me saying something funny or with a bit of an accent, that's just part of my charm. I promise it all comes with a big heart and an even bigger passion for storytelling through photos.
In my free time, I watch a lot of movies and series. I'm a huge fan of Tarantino, Game of Thrones (except the last season!), and all mafia movies. I love board games and escape rooms. I lead a cozy lifestyle, where the sofa – as everyone knows – is the ultimate command center :) I’ve got a good sense of humor and don’t take myself too seriously because life has taught me that it's better not to sweat the small stuff. I love to laugh, joke, and when no one's around – I love to dance and sing. If you asked me whether I want a beer or a martini, I’ll always choose the first option ;) And if we meet, you can be sure I’ll listen and ask more about you than talk about myself.
COUPLE of FACTS ABOUT ME:
I was born in the '90s, so yes, I know what a Walkman is.
I’m a softie at heart, which is why I sometimes tear up during ceremonies or when reading thank-you emails from my "clients" (I don’t really like the word ‘clients’ — to me, you’re all friends).
I love pizza and ice cream, especially pecan ice cream!
I understand everything Kenny from South Park says.
I can’t stand goat cheese.
My favorite couple’s pose is nose-to-nose.
I lived in Warsaw, Poland, for 10 years and have been in the U.S. since November, 2024.
I was the only one at university who got an A! in History of Photography.
On April 6, 2024, we said goodbye to our beloved cat Nicky. He lived almost 19 years, bringing incredible joy every day. Losing him was the hardest experience I’ve had, and I still haven’t come to terms with it. Now, we have our sweet little princess cat Maize.
People are everything to me, and that's not just an empty phrase. Whether it’s a wedding reportage, a portrait session, a business shoot, or a family session — each story is just as important. I don’t divide people into “better” and “lesser” categories just because your wedding doesn’t look like something off Pinterest. I treat everyone equally.
What matters to me most is that my photos are authentic and reflect both you and my style, as well as how I see the world. I’m not a fan of snobbery or making a big deal out of things. I don’t feel comfortable around control freaks or people pretending to be ‘more’ than they are. That’s why I ask a lot of questions during our first contact — I want to make sure we’re on the same page not only about photography but also to see if we’ll simply get along. Every person I meet is an inspiration, and a chance to form another meaningful connection. I know I won’t form lifelong friendships with everyone, but hey, if there’s a chance — why not try? :)
When I asked people to describe my photos, the most common words were: vibrant, fun, genuine, warm, joyful, candid, romantic, full of color and emotion. I couldn’t have said it better myself! If you’re wondering what makes a photo unforgettable, my answer is simple: TRUST. Without it, no session can succeed, no matter how beautiful the surroundings may be. That’s it, and that’s everything!
If you'd like to get to know me better or create something unforgettable together, feel free to check out my social media, blog, and contact me. I’d love to meet you and hear your story!
